About
Sandton Auctioneers, founded in 1982, is the principal firm of Fine Art Auctioneers based in Johannesburg, South Africa. Specialising in the appraisal and sale of Art, Antiques, Investment Carpets and Fine and Rare Objects in all collecting categories including Rare Bronzes, Silver, Marble Statuettes and Investment Jewellery.
The firm is family owned and founded by Mehdi Khansefid who is a descendant of a long line of Persian Carpet Dealers in Persia and his son Ali Khansefid trained by his father, today heads the company as CEO.
Ali is closely involved in the business and strives to provide personal service for consignors and bidders.
